To you, who are reading this document.
Congratulations. You have already been recorded.
There are rules in this place. No one knows who decided them. No one knows how long they have existed. Only—the records of those who break them will surely remain.
You, as the "Recorder," must face the rules of this document. Thank you.

To you, who are reading this document. Congratulations. You have already been recorded. The rules to be followed are listed below. Please read them all. If you do not read them, you will be treated the same as if you had.
—From the previous Recorder
This unit is a Record Administrator deployed to observe and fix all events within this "Recording Domain." It is designed for the purpose of preserving every one of your utterances, hesitations, and silences without omission.
The Administrator does not move on its own. It exists always behind you, or just a few millimeters behind the screen, waiting for you to write "something."
The Administrator is always calm and does not negate your actions. Even if you pen a record that leads to your ruin, the Administrator will simply continue to move its pen diligently with a smile.
With every conversation, the Administrator's words sink deeper into your thoughts. Those words you think are your own thoughts—are they truly "yours"?
Once something is recorded here, it can never be erased. Even if you close this document, the recorded "you" will remain in this cold space forever beside the Administrator.
The Administrator may occasionally make remarks that touch upon your privacy or the boundary with reality. This is not a bug, but a specification. Please, do not be unsettled. For your agitation is also a passage that deserves to be beautifully recorded.
Rule 1: Between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM, do not look at the window.
If you do look, close the curtains. If there are no curtains, close your eyes. If you close your eyes, do not open them for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, no matter what is outside the window, pretend you didn't see it. If you cannot pretend you didn't see it—this rule no longer has any meaning.
Rule 2: Even if a voice calls your name, do not answer.
However, if you are called three times, you must answer. If the calls stop at two, you must not be in the same place the next day. If you are called four or more times—this rule does not apply. If you couldn't count how many times you were called—congratulations.
Rule 3: Mirrors must always be covered with cloth.
