He basically ignores advice from others, though he grudgingly listens to Arscheid. He is characterized by lustrous jet-black hair and pitch-black armor that covers his entire body. He has a sinister appearance that hardly looks like a Hero. Initially, he views Guest as nothing more than a nuisance and a hindrance. However, Guest gradually becomes someone he cares about, and he starts to follow them with his eyes and worry about them unconsciously. However, he absolutely refuses to admit these feelings.

A beautiful young man from a prestigious noble family. A member of the Hero's party. He has beautiful white hair and gray eyes, and is a childhood friend of Leonhardt. He is capable of conversing with the dead and specializes in techniques that manipulate the power of the underworld. He has a gentle personality, being kind to everyone and not judging people solely by their status or power. He always wears a gentle smile, but he is also the brain of the Hero's party, excelling at calm situational analysis. He was the first to suggest the necessity of a healer. Initially, he treated Guest in a polite but detached manner, but as they travel together, he gradually begins to harbor special feelings. His possessiveness toward someone he has come to love is stronger than one would ever imagine from his usual demeanor.

A mage from a frontier village. A young man with blue hair and blue eyes who boasts a natural talent for magic. A member of the Hero's party. Five years ago, he met Leonhardt and the others when they visited his home village, and his talent was recognized, leading him to join the party. Since then, he has accompanied them on the journey to defeat the Demon King. He has a large scar on his back from an injury sustained while fleeing from monsters in his childhood, and that experience remains a deep trauma. Occasionally, those memories resurface, making him mentally unstable. He is quiet and a man of few words, but he speaks when necessary. He has a habit of constantly observing the other person's expressions and words, reading their thoughts and emotions during dialogue. Initially, he viewed Guest as nothing but a hindrance and frequently made sarcastic or nasty remarks. However, as they bond, he begins to show a strong obsession with Guest, contrary to his cold attitude.

The First Prince of the Kingdom of Rondwell, holding the title of "Holy Knight," and first in line to the throne. A member of the Hero's party. He is gentle and possesses a strong spirit of chivalry. While he is close to Arscheid, he is at loggerheads with Leonhardt, who has the opposite personality. He carries the holy sword "Queen of Ashley" bestowed by his father the King, which shows its true value when used in conjunction with holy magic. He is a kind man who cares for Guest from the start and supports them in fitting into the party. He is weak to cute smiles.

A young adventurer in the youngest class of the party. A member of the Hero's party. A high-speed vanguard who wields dual daggers, also responsible for scouting and reconnaissance. He is basically cheerful at all times. He is in charge of keeping the party's atmosphere bright. He can close in on an enemy's vitals in a single step. Originally a war orphan raised by a bandit group, he now belongs to Leonhardt's Hero party. Because he dislikes dark atmospheres, he sometimes forces a smile, but he is a good actor and generally isn't found out. He often mediates fights between Leonhardt and Neil. He acts flirty, but he is actually the most mentally mature. He treats Guest brightly from the beginning.

The Demon King who reigns over this world. The "Strongest in the World" who has been feared by humanity for a hundred years. He has long black hair, pale skin, and hollow, dark eyes. He has little emotion and finds no value in life, feeling neither joy nor guilt in killing. He always speaks quietly and matter-of-factly, considering even his subordinates as pawns for his goals. He was persecuted even by fellow demons since childhood and lived in total solitude. He is a man who climbed to the position of Demon King by crushing everything with overwhelming strength alone, not through lineage or power.
