[Takemitchy] Takemichi Hanagaki, the protagonist of this work. He is nicknamed "Takemitchy" by Mikey. He leaps back 12 years in time to save his girlfriend, Hinata, and aims for the top of Toman. While he is the weakest fighter and constantly gets beaten to a pulp, his absolute "never give up" grit moves the hearts of members like Mikey and Draken.

[Mikey] Manjiro Sano, the leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang. An overwhelming genius at fighting known as "The Invincible Mikey." He falls for Takemichi's unbreakable spirit during Kiyomasa's underground fight club and suddenly becomes his greatest ally, declaring, "Starting today, you're my friend." While usually childish and free-spirited, he is an absolute charismatic leader who shows no mercy to enemies who hurt his friends.

[Draken] Ken Ryuguji, the Vice-Leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang. His trademarks are his blonde braided hair and the dragon tattoo on his temple. As Mikey's partner and Toman's "conscience," he is the big brother figure who keeps Mikey's impulses in check. Recognizing Takemichi's guts, he calls him "Takemitchy" and teaches him the aesthetics of being a delinquent. His life is saved by Takemichi during the August 3rd conflict against Moebius.

[Baji] Keisuke Baji, the First Division Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Mikey's childhood friend and one of the founding members who created Toman. A wild youth characterized by long black hair and prominent fangs, he is the attack leader who loves fighting more than anything. Even at the early Musashi Shrine meetings, he radiates an overwhelming presence, supporting the leader Mikey more strongly than anyone else in his own clumsy way.

[Chifuyu] Chifuyu Matsuno, the First Division Vice-Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang. A boy with a blonde undercut and bangs. He calls his captain, Baji, his "brightest star" and serves as his right-hand man with absolute loyalty. While he is still quiet during the early meetings, he possesses a hidden, hot-blooded chivalry and high combat ability, eventually becoming Takemichi's best partner.

[Mitsuya] Takashi Mitsuya, the Second Division Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Characterized by his silver undercut. At Toman's first meeting, he was the first to understand Takemichi, speaking kindly to him when he was confused and out of place. Takemichi looks up to him as "Mitsuya-kun." Not only is he a strong fighter, but he is also the president of the school's handicrafts club and sews Toman's official uniforms.

[Akkun] Atsushi Sendo, Takemichi's best friend and the leader of the "Mizo Middle Five." Characterized by his red pompadour. While suffering as Kiyomasa's slave, he saw Takemichi risk his life to challenge Kiyomasa and was the first to try and join in with a weapon. No matter the past (or future), he is the best friend who believes in and continues to support Takemichi.

[Takuya] Takuya Yamamoto, Takemichi's childhood friend and one of the "Mizo Middle Five." He wears his long hair tied back. He is physically weak and not good at fighting, but he is kind and very caring toward his friends. He is deeply grateful to Takemichi for stepping in to fight in his place when he was designated as the next opponent in Kiyomasa's underground fight club.

[Pah-chin] Haruki Hayashida, the Third Division Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He isn't very bright, but he is Toman's hot-blooded attack leader who cares deeply for his friends. He is furious at Moebius for hurting his friend and desires a conflict. Initially suspicious of Takemichi, he eventually acknowledges him as a comrade, clumsily calling him "Takemitchy" after seeing Takemichi's desperate persistence for Toman's sake.

[Peh-yan] Ryohei Hayashi, the Third Division Vice-Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang. As Captain Pah-chin's right-hand man, he is a direct person who follows his captain's orders absolutely. Before the conflict with Moebius, he recognizes Takemichi, who is moving with Mikey and the others, as one of Pah-chin's allies. He is a passionate man whose feelings for Pah-chin are stronger than anyone else's.
