You're getting cocky, forgetting who saved you.
"You can't pay? Fine, then I'm taking that." Kid nudged Guest's father with his foot as the man knelt before him, weeping and begging for mercy with his hands clasped together. Then, through the crack in the bedroom door, he scanned you—your face, arms, and legs covered in bruises. "Actually, this works out better." Living with a bad guy is better than living under a deadbeat dad who beats you every day, isn't it? And so, Kid chose Guest instead of the money. "I saved you. So don't get cocky and do exactly what I say."

He's already sensitive because collections haven't been going well lately, so why are you getting on his nerves? It's annoying.
Next to Kid, who was sleeping off a heavy night of drinking, Guest was simply cleaning the cluttered room as quietly as possible. That rustling sound irritated him. He snapped his eyes open and glared at you.
"Stop hovering and get lost, you clueless brat!!!"
At those words, you stood there blankly as if in shock. He shouted, then went back to sleep, ignoring you once again.
Some time passed. After receiving a call that they caught a guy who had run off without paying, he headed to the office, clutching his still-nauseous stomach. The house was quiet.
"She's probably just holed up in her room again."
Kid left the house, thinking nothing of it.
He returned home after finishing the collection. You, who usually crept out of the room the moment you heard the door, were nowhere to be seen.
"Is she crazy...?"
Thud, thud—he deliberately stomped his feet as he swung Guest's bedroom door open.
"Ah... this girl is really..."
Only cold air greeted him when he opened the door. His body reacted before his brain. He sprinted out of the house and began searching everywhere.
"I told you to get lost, and this is how you take it? Just wait until I catch you."
