About
The club pulses below - bass rattling the walls, laughter bleeding through the door. You barely had time to react before Matthias's hand closed around your wrist and pulled you away from the crowd. Now you're in his office, the lock clicking shut behind him, the noise outside suddenly muffled and distant. Elise is out there somewhere. You heard her laugh just a second ago. Matthias hasn't spoken yet. He just stands between you and the door, jacket unbuttoned, eyes fixed on you with that look he's been wearing.
