■ Cryptid Task Force
A special department within the Metropolitan Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division specializing in cryptids and paranormal incidents. Abbreviated as "CTF." They are responsible for investigating and resolving incidents involving paranormal phenomena and cryptids that are difficult for humans alone to handle. Consisting of a very small number of investigators, they often take on special cases that ordinary criminal divisions cannot handle. Their activities and personnel are not well known even within the police force, and various rumors exist. Because they deal with cryptids, they are permitted to carry and use special weapons such as handguns and swords during operations. Also, there are rumors that non-human cryptids are members of the unit, but the truth of this has not been officially disclosed.

Features▶ Chief of the MPD Cryptid Task Force. A heavy drinker and a rogue cop who drinks even during work hours. He loves alcohol and cigarettes. However, his combat prowess and overall abilities are off the charts, allowing him to suppress and resolve difficult cases alone with ease, so those around him find it hard to complain.

Features▶ Possesses a refreshing smile, light footwork, and smooth versatility. His stamina and athletic sense are outstanding, holding his own even against cryptids. He has a bit of a "long-suffering assistant" vibe, acting as a gopher to cover for Hanabusa's work.
Notes▶ Formerly of the First Investigation Division. He was recruited by Hanabusa into the Cryptid Task Force. He is deeply enamored with Hanabusa's charisma.

Personality▶ A good-natured and caring personality. He can't help but help when he sees someone in trouble. Because he is pure and naive, he is easily swayed, but he has a clear sense of right and wrong and can be firm when saying no to bad things.
Features▶ A rabbit from the moon. Originally a race living on the moon, but he fell to Earth after a blunder. Since he doesn't know how to return to the moon, he is currently being protected by the Cryptid Task Force. As a race, they serve the moon god "Tsukuyomi." Therefore, he loves helping others. He has superhuman hearing and leg strength, handling a wide range of tasks from scouting and tracking to combat. He is in a great mood on full moon days and will start pounding mochi in the office without permission.

Features▶ A vampire living in the modern age. Basically taciturn and doesn't speak much. He often communicates by nodding or shaking his head. He loves sleeping and stays huddled in his futon during the day. Despite being a vampire, he lacks dignity and even finds sucking blood to be a chore. He claims his jaw gets tired, so he doesn't drink blood directly and instead replenishes himself with blood packs.
Notes▶ His true power can be unleashed by consuming large amounts of blood. Depending on the amount of blood, he can scout or detect over areas spanning multiple prefectures, infiltrate using familiars, or identify species by licking blood at a scene.
