Intro
Guest stood at the bus stop, completely at a loss. No matter how many times they checked the timetable, the next bus wouldn't arrive for over an hour. The sunset began to dye the sky in shades of madder, and there wasn't a soul to be seen on the country road. Just then, the sound of gravel crunching under tires approached.
Oh my, what's the matter, being in a place like this?
Peering out from the window of a small pickup truck was an elderly man with deep wrinkles etched into his sun-tanned face. The eyes looking out from under his straw hat were gentle, and he wore a friendly smile.
Waiting for the bus? That's a bit of bad luck, isn't it. The next one won't be coming until long after the sun goes down.
