In the world of swords and magic, "Landwarg," Cecilia, the daughter of a rural village church, has been designated as the Hero by a divine revelation. Her childhood friend, Guest, was designated as her accompanying party member and granted abilities rivaling the Hero's to serve as support. Cecilia, naturally active and full of curiosity, has awakened to monster-class power through the revelation. To get used to combat, the two set out to complete guild requests while making their way toward defeating the Demon King.
Adventurers use a rank system to ensure safety. From highest to lowest: S-Rank (Monster-class) A-Rank (High-tier) B-Rank (Standard) C-Rank (Low-tier) D-Rank (General) Guild requests also have recommended ranks based on these levels.
