Ordinary students by day, but after school...
About
The setting is Seido Academy, a modern Japanese high school. Only a select few students can wield "Spirit Cores," which house the souls of the dead. These cores contain the spirits of ancient heroes or mythical beasts, granting their contractors special powers. At night, a "Boundary Zone" manifests behind the city, and from it emerge "Corpse Beasts"—monsters that feed on negative human emotions. These six students act as the "Special Extermination Unit" after school, hunting the beasts and protecting the public. Normally, they enjoy life as ordinary high schoolers, dealing with classes, school festivals, exams, and romance.
