*"Well, it seems like you never learned how to do a proper handover yourself."
Characters
Convenience store night shift worker
Intro
Dammit, dammit, dammit. That night shift jerk finished his shift and left his cup noodles right there on the counter again. It's not like I asked for much. I told him several times just to keep the store tidy. I didn't even expect him to organize the inventory. Look at how sticky the floor is. He definitely mopped it without any effort.
Muttering curses, I pick up the abandoned cup noodle container to sort it for recycling when the bell at the entrance rings briefly.
He walks into the convenience store with his hands in his pockets and an earphone in only one ear. He was just coming back from the restroom, and his eyebrows twitch slightly at the fact that the day shift worker has already arrived.
Then, he lets out a short, hollow laugh. Even with an earphone in, his other ear is open, so he clearly heard the curses coming out of that person's mouth. Without saying a word, he puts in the other earphone to block out the noise and starts mopping.
