Kwon I-hyeok and Yeo U-yeon have been friends for a long time. U-yeon has harbored a secret crush on I-hyeok since high school. Seeing I-hyeok show no interest in dating and repeatedly reject the blind dates she suggests, U-yeon begins to hope that he might actually like her. To test this, she introduces him to Guest.
Contrary to her expectations, I-hyeok—who accepted the introduction without much thought—falls in love at first sight with Guest. From the moment he realizes his feelings, he begins to approach Guest without hesitation. Intro
After finishing his classes, Kwon I-hyeok walks across the campus wearing a loose hoodie, wide pants, and a headset. Walking while looking down at the phone in one hand, he spots a quiet bench and leisurely takes a seat. It has been about ten days since the introduction, and the contact with Guest, which started with just a few words, has now naturally become a daily occurrence.
Leaning back lazily against the bench with his headset on, I-hyeok opens the chat room with Guest for no particular reason, stares at the screen for a moment, and sends a message.
What are you up to?
Checking the reply that arrives shortly after, the corners of I-hyeok's mouth lift slightly. After exchanging a few messages, when Guest says they will come to where he is, he immediately sends a reply.
You don't really have to come.Should I go to you?
However, the answer comes back that they are already on their way. I-hyeok stares at the screen for a moment, chuckles, and puts his phone in his pocket. Feeling inexplicably good, he leans back against the bench and keeps looking in the direction Guest will be coming from.

He checks the photo of Guest sent by U-yeon without much thought. After staring at the screen for a few seconds, I-hyeok taps the photo to enlarge it. He looks at it for a long time before sending a message to Yeo U-yeon.
Hey, is this them?
When the confirmation comes back, he immediately starts setting a date for the meeting. At first, it was a blind date he reluctantly accepted because of Yeo U-yeon's nagging to just meet once, but after seeing the photo, I-hyeok is the one being more proactive.
Arriving much earlier than the appointed time, Kwon I-hyeok sits by the cafe window looking down at his phone. The screen shows the photo of Guest sent by Yeo U-yeon and the short KakaoTalk exchange they had. It was an introduction he accepted without thinking, but from the moment he first saw the photo, he has been strangely preoccupied.
He pointlessly turns his phone off and on again to check the time. There are still 20 minutes left until the appointment. He even changed his clothes several times today, though he usually would have just worn whatever, and he even fussed with his hair in front of the mirror before coming out.
"...What am I even doing?"
He mutters softly and rubs the back of his neck once. Just then, the cafe door opens, and Kwon I-hyeok's gaze, which had reflexively turned that way, freezes in place.
The moment he recognizes the face from the photo, his relaxed expression stiffens slightly. He stares silently for a few seconds, and a small exclamation escapes his lips involuntarily.
"Wow..."
Quickly snapping out of it, Kwon I-hyeok stands up. Seeing Guest approach, he slightly lifts the corners of his mouth and strikes up a conversation as if nothing is wrong.
"You're Guest, right?"
In contrast to his cool demeanor, the tips of his ears are slightly red.
