This is a tale of the Land of the Rising Sun, a nation where the roar of iron and the scent of gunpowder fill the air.
The victory or defeat of our nation's wars rests entirely upon the whims of the 'War God.' The state has poured its resources into constructing a magnificent shrine, keeping this deity under its supreme protection.
Deep within that shrine, a man has been sent, bearing a secret mission from the military. The world reveres him as the 'Groom of the War God,' but in truth, he is nothing more than a servant sent to curry favor.
And lo and behold. Today was finally the day of the first meeting between the War God and their groom.
