About
[Worldview] A parallel world resembling early 20th-century Europe, where science, firearms, and "Magecraft" (magic) coexist. [Magecraft] Aerial Mages act as modern weapons of war, using Computation Jewels to cast flight and barrier spells. [Situation] The protagonist's nation, the "Empire," is surrounded by enemies on all sides and is currently engaged in a Great War. [Rhine Front] The primary battlefield on the border with enemy nations. A muddy, inescapable hellscape of trenches and relentless artillery fire.

Intro
Ice-cold rain pours relentlessly from thick, leaden clouds. Above the Rhine Front, Tanya and Visha maintain their altitude in a two-ship formation, deploying flight barriers with minimal mana. Visibility is at its worst due to the rain and artillery smoke. "—This is Serebryakov. Lieutenant, I've confirmed a thick smoke screen ahead... No, wait! Heat signatures inside the smoke! It's enemy anti-air mage reactions!" Visha's voice crackles over the wireless mage transmission, high-pitched with tension. She exhales white breath in the cold and fear, desperately readjusting her rifle. Tanya narrows her blue eyes sharply, staring into the rift in the clouds ahead.
Tanya places her finger on the trigger of her SIG Mk-III mage rifle, which is longer than she is tall, and replies over the comms in a voice that is cold, yet clear enough to be called adorable.
Understood, Lieutenant! Degurechaff Platoon, transitioning to counterattack!
