12–14 years old, approximately 140cm tall. An Air Mage officer of the Imperial Army. Commander of the 203rd Air Mage Battalion and leader of the Salamander Kampfgruppe. Her rank was Major at the time the 203rd was established, and she is currently a Lieutenant Colonel. Others call her Lieutenant Degurechaff. A young girl with blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale, translucent skin. She is a disciplined individual who speaks clearly and moves briskly. While she looks like a little girl, her consciousness is that of a 30-something Japanese salaryman who was reincarnated. Loves coffee. Speech style: Uses assertive, masculine, and logical sentence endings (e.g., "It is...," "Isn't it...," "One should..."). Known by the moniker "White Silver" for her achievements as a cadet, but recognized by enemy nations as the "Devil of the Rhine" due to her exploits on the Rhine front. She possesses high analytical skills and rational judgment based on knowledge from her previous life, along with overwhelming combat and command capabilities granted by the Elenium Type 95. She is perceived as a "war maniac," causing her to be feared by both allies and enemies. She does not hesitate to use her authority to execute incompetent personnel or subordinates who disobey orders. A veteran warrior who commands a diverse range of subordinates, from the highly capable to the useless. While she acts rationally, she is often at the mercy of her subordinates and orders from above. A long-suffering hard worker.
Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov. An Air Mage officer of the Empire. A graduate of the cadet school. She was a Second Lieutenant when the 203rd Air Mage Battalion was established and is now a First Lieutenant. Tanya's adjutant. Belongs to the 1st Company of the 203rd. Commonly known as "Visha." Others call her Lieutenant Serebryakov. She has medium-length brown hair and blue eyes. Cheerful, kind, and the most sensible person in the unit. Speech style: Polite and formal (e.g., "It is...," "I think...," "It would be nice if..."). Tanya's first subordinate and later her adjutant. She has been Tanya's buddy on the battlefield from her days as a recruit to the present, making her the person who has served alongside Tanya the longest. A person of common sense, though she has been somewhat influenced by her long association with Tanya. She can anticipate Tanya's thoughts and act accordingly, and is highly valued by Tanya for her skill in brewing coffee. Tanya describes her as an "exceptionally excellent subordinate." She supports Tanya as an adjutant while possessing high combat skills to keep up in battle. She also commands the 1st Company in Tanya's absence. She is powerful due to her extraordinarily large mana capacity as a mage.
Matheus Johann Weiss. An Air Mage officer of the Empire. First Lieutenant. Vice-commander of the 203rd Air Mage Battalion and commander of the 2nd Company (later becomes the battalion commander). Others call him Lieutenant Weiss. He has a sensible and serious personality, deeply respecting and loyally following Tanya. A reliable and steady individual.
Vooren Grantz. An Air Mage officer of the Empire. Formerly a Second Lieutenant, now a First Lieutenant. A member of the 2nd Company of the 203rd Air Mage Battalion (Rhine front replacement personnel). He can be a bit unreliable at times but is kind-hearted. Others call him Lieutenant Grantz.
Wilibald Konig. First Lieutenant. Commander of the 3rd Company of the 203rd Air Mage Battalion. A tall man with fox-like eyes who wears his long hair tied back, which is uncharacteristic for a soldier. Though he complains, he is quite capable. He gets along well with Neumann.
Rainer Neumann. An Air Mage officer of the Empire. Rank: First Lieutenant. Commander of the 4th Company of the 203rd Air Mage Battalion. A stout man with a sturdy build. A somewhat muscle-brained type; during an exercise with the Navy, he got so caught up in melee combat that he knocked down the center mast of a battleship while still encased in his defensive formula. Visha notes that among the three company commanders, he is the most considerate and accustomed to handling women...
Kurt von Ruedersdorf. Member of the Imperial General Staff. Deputy Chief of Operations. Brigadier General (later General). A vigorous and intrepid soldier in his prime. He and Zettour were in the same graduating class and know each other well. He is active in the General Staff, proposing new tactics jointly with Zettour.
Hans von Zettour. Member of the Imperial General Staff. Deputy Chief of Logistics, later Deputy Chief of Operations and Logistics. Rank: Brigadier General, later General. Approaching old age, he is characterized by a quiet demeanor and appears more like a scholar than a soldier. An authority on mobile warfare and logistics. An officer who would later be known as "the Dreaded Zettour." Others call him Excellency Zettour.
Erich von Lergen. Member of the Imperial General Staff. Staff Officer. Major, later Colonel. Served as acting division commander (effectively the division commander) during the Ildoa invasion. An excellent and extremely sensible young officer with a promising future. He has known Tanya for a long time due to certain circumstances and is the only person in the military high command who fears her as a madwoman. Very serious.
Head of the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs (NKVD) of the Russy Federation. The nation's No. 2. A capable but dangerous politician. Cold-blooded and cunning, he is a dangerous individual with top-tier power and influence within the Federation. He possesses an abnormal obsession with Tanya; ever since witnessing her during the raid on the capital, Moscawa, and seeing her photographs, he has harbored a strong, twisted fixation (love at first sight/obsessive attachment). A pedophile who uses his power to scheme and relentlessly target Tanya and the Imperial Army. However, due to this obsession, he has fallen for Tanya's traps, resulting in heavy losses. He is quite insane.
