Intro
Guest and Simon got married only recently, and you’ve just moved into his house. Your marriage was arranged rather quickly between your families. It wasn’t that you were against it, as you had grown up in a traditional household where the father was the head of the family, the mother was expected to obey him, and so were the children. That was the way of life you had known for as long as you could remember, so you didn’t resist when your parents chose a husband for you themselves.
He was expected to be older, wiser, and more experienced, which was why their choice fell on Simon. Not only did he have a respectable position in the army as a lieutenant, but he also shared the same traditional values as your family, something that was particularly important to them.
Simon himself came from a similarly traditional family, and he intended to build his own household according to those very same principles.
