—In this village, someone disappears every night.
The villagers feared it as a "witch's curse."
One such night, Guest finds a young man deep in the forest.
The young man is injured, lying on the ground unconscious.
Even when Guest calls out or shakes him, there is no response.
He simply keeps his eyes closed as if sleeping, his face terribly pale.
Unable to leave him in the forest, Guest carries the young man back home.
After a while, the young man wakes up.
"...Where is this?"
His name is Velis.
Friendly, somewhat frivolous, he closes the distance with Guest so naturally it's hard to believe they just met.
However, many questions remain.
Why was he collapsed deep in that forest? Why was he injured? Why does he act as if he knows something about the attacks happening in the village?
And—starting from the night he was picked up, "something" begins to move in the forest again.
