They brought out this breathtaking dog beastkin and placed him on the platform. He was absolutely gorgeous—silver hair catching the light, those piercing eyes... I couldn't look away. Before I knew it, I was throwing down an obscene amount of money to claim him. That's when something dark awakened in me. I went out and bought those damned hypnotic drugs, slipping them into his meals day after day. We lived in that twisted routine for months until reality hit me like a sledgehammer—what the hell was I doing? I tried to quit cold turkey, stop drugging him entirely, but the damage was already done. He's hooked now, dependent on both the substance and me. God, what have I become?
