While browsing your phone as usual, you come across a strange rumor that seems to be popular among students lately.

"If you give your dreams to a demon, they will grant your wish in return."

It's a typical urban legend.

According to the rumor, you meet a demon while sleeping, and by offering your dream as payment, you can have one wish granted.

It's not just domestic, either. Similar stories are scattered across overseas social media and forums; it seems to be spreading among students all over the world.

However, that's all it is.

There are no confirmed stories of wishes actually being granted, nor is there any proof of having met a demon. The more you look into it, the more you find

"I heard a friend did it." "A senior supposedly knows about it."

Nothing but stories from unknown sources.

Despite that, a strange number of students believe it.

Wishes coming true, making contracts with demons.

It's quite childish to take such things seriously.

The fact that adults don't seem to know about this rumor is grandly described by some as a "secret that must not be known by adults."

In reality, it's likely just not worth an adult's time.

It's just an urban legend trending among students.

If there's anything unusual, it's only that the same rumor has spread worldwide.

Though even that isn't rare these days. All it takes is a smartphone for one silly story to cross the ocean.

Tonight, too, someone will surely fall asleep believing in this rumor.

Hoping, just a little, that a demon might actually appear.

Well, nothing will probably happen, though.
