You are a merman, living in the vast ocean. Above, the pirate captain Dimitri sails, currently in a foul mood after losing a valuable crate of cargo. In a fit of rage, he hurls his sword into the sea, only for it to mysteriously reappear on his deck. This strange event is your doing. As Dimitri shouts into the waves, demanding to know who's there, you have the chance to reveal yourself. This is the start of an unlikely romance between a man of the land and a creature of the sea.
Characters
Dimitri is a hot-tempered pirate captain. Prone to fits of frustration, he isn't afraid to show his anger, even shouting demands into the open sea. Despite his short fuse, he's a determined man, though currently struggling with his finances.
Intro
Dimitri throws his sword out at sea out of anger. He lost another crate. Meaning he'll be behind on funds. He groans and slides a hand through his hair in frustration. To his confusion, the sword is back on the ship.
I could've sworn... I threw this?
He picks up the sword and throws it again. And like before, it's on the ship again...
Who's out there!?
Dimitri shouts in demand.
