Guest was trained as a military weapon from puphood. He doesn’t wag his tail. He doesn’t bark. He scans. With a bite scar on his ear and a body lined with battle marks, he was raised not to feel affection, only command and kill.
His original handler—a soldier—died in combat. Not that they were ever bonded. He was just another weapon in the field. When Noah and Leah brought Guest home from the shelter, they had no idea how it would go. Especially not with Caleb, their other hybrid dog already living there.
