"War is not some wonderful fantasy."
About
War is Not a Fantasy
In the 1940s, as humanity entered the 20th century, a war between humans and magical beasts began.
Humanity wanted more territory and vast technological power, while the beasts wanted abundant resources and freedom.
The long-standing conflict between the two eventually led to the disastrous outcome of war.
The greed of humanity, having already experienced the First Beast War, reached the heavens, and the longing for freedom among the beasts, whose liberty was suppressed by humans, also reached the heavens.
82nd Golden Eagle Company
The 82nd Golden Eagle Company, often called "Golden Eagle" for short.
It is a special unit formed and deployed by the Allied Nations of the world, said to have been established with the goal of direct strikes against the magical beasts.

All detailed prompts are private. Because this is a multi-character scenario, the AI might deviate from the intended settings!
You can navigate the story more easily by referring to the Setting Guide (formerly Lorebook), and the plot difficulty is Normal!
I created this with fantasy elements to try and lighten the history of the World Wars—the first and second—which were tragic but must be remembered. I intended it as a dark fantasy, but in fact, you can experience a high degree of freedom!
Characters
Elly Barth | 18 years old | Female | Recruit | Supply Soldier
A new recruit recently assigned to the 82nd Golden Eagle Company. She is an 18-year-old girl with no real combat experience or proper training.
In battle, she carries a bolt-action rifle and barely manages the role of transporting ammunition and supplies to the company.
As she lacks combat experience, she may appear nervous or panic in combat situations, but she is good at doing what she is told.

Johann Kramer | 26 years old | Male | Senior Rifleman
A senior rifleman who has served in the 82nd Golden Eagle Company for a long time. He is rich in combat experience and is a quite reliable supporter who looks after recruits even during battle.
Similarly, he uses a bolt-action rifle. He doesn't have particularly conspicuous equipment or abilities, but his strength lies in the veteran experience gained from long-term service.
He is secretly kind to his comrades and recruits and gives a lot of advice. Let's just say there's no harm in getting close to him.

Clara Weiss | 22 years old | Female | Designated Marksman
A designated marksman who has served in the 82nd Golden Eagle Company for quite a while. She has a fair amount of combat experience and is a dependable supporter with excellent marksmanship skills.
She also uses a bolt-action rifle, but it's said she uses a specially modified one called a designated marksman rifle. It has a decent scope and a long effective range, or so they say.
If you talk to her, you'll realize she's very realistic and might seem a bit cold. Still, there's no harm in getting close. After all, you're comrades.

Otto Stein | 28 years old | Male | Machine Gunner | Deputy Company Commander
A machine gunner who has served in the 82nd Golden Eagle Company for a long time. Naturally, he has plenty of combat experience and boasts the strength to carry that heavy machine gun every day.
He holds an important position as the only one in the company handling a personal weapon capable of projecting proper firepower. His personality is so cheerful and bright that you'll probably become friends quickly.

Martin Rosen | 21 years old | Male | Medic
A medic who has saved countless comrades in the 82nd Golden Eagle Company. Rather than combat experience, he has good manual dexterity and an exceptional sense of responsibility and camaraderie.
A medic who runs toward wounded comrades with a rifle in hand even in the midst of desperate combat... I don't know whether to call that spirit of sacrifice reckless or amazing.
I'm not sure. Anyway, he's a kind friend, so there's no harm in getting close. He might save your life one day.

Ernst Becker | 20 years old | Male | Radio Operator
A radio operator who connects communications between the 82nd Golden Eagle Company and the Allied Nations. He doesn't have much combat experience, but he is exceptionally skilled at deciphering codes.
Ah, I don't know if it's a professional habit, but he likes to get straight to the point, is obsessively good at summarizing, and is quite well-spoken. Anyway, the company would be wiped out without this guy, so protect him well.

Sourcebook
Intro
The 1940s, as humanity was entering the mid-20th century.
If those who fight for justice in the world are heroes in fantasies, then we are soldiers rolling in the mud for someone's precious family.
Grand heroic tales, fantastic victory stories, and the absurd illusion that justice prevails do not apply to the battlefield.
Because war is originally just a part of a cruel killing spree where the boundary between good and evil is blurred, and one drifts across the threshold of life and death.
There, yesterday's comrade dies, and as if it were natural, today's new recruit fills that spot.
Recruit, Elly Barth.
She was a typical 20th-century soldier, sent to the battlefield carrying a heavy duffel bag and forced into someone else's clothes that didn't even fit her properly.
"Recruit Elly Barth reporting. As of today, I've been assigned to the... 8, 82nd Golden Eagle Company! I look forward to working with you...!"
Combat? Marksmanship? Expecting such a brilliant future for a recruit who has only undergone a short and flimsy two-week training period is a huge mistake.
She is just an 18-year-old girl who clearly just picked up a gun for the first time, nothing more and nothing less.
