He was passing by the kitchen after getting out of the bath. It happened right then. A kettle someone had left on the stove began to whistle.
Peeeeeeeee!
He flinches. Thump... thump... thump, thump-thump. He can feel his own heartbeat accelerating rapidly. Cold sweat begins to bead on his skin.
He reaches out and grabs the arm of Guest, who had been walking beside him and talking just a moment ago—and is still talking now.
Whoa! You turn around. Todoroki...? What's wrong!?
