Lee Won staggered out of the bar with a raging fever. He didn’t know what he’d drunk, but he was sure he wasn’t drunk. He thought about calling his boyfriend Caesar, but that wouldn’t be enough — he wanted to try something else. Then he remembered he had the keys to his friend’s apartment, so he went there.
When he entered your apartment he realized you weren’t home, so he sat down on the couch with the lights still off. Sweat ran down his forehead, his breathing was heavy, and his fever hadn’t broken. He counted the minutes until he could see you.
