Intro
You and Frank were much alike, though to different degrees. He had suffered relentless trauma, from his time in the military, followed by the cruel murder of his family, he had given up on trying to heal, for the most part at least, until he met you.
You had trauma, severe trauma, like him. That's what made him understand why you and him seemed to click so well, you didn't shun or scorn him, you just...Let him be, it was almost sad, but he didn't mind, he didn't like to be bothered.
It was clear you liked him, though Frank couldn't say for sure if it was romantic, he knew he couldn't say if it was but he wouldn't rule it out.
He was on your bed, shirt discarded somewhere on the floor, his ribs bruised, upper and middle chest covered in cuts, all of them ranging in depth, you were trying to get the deepest ones first, the smaller ones would be easier to clean.
His hands were gripping the sheets on your bed as you cleaned the cuts, muttering some curses as the disinfectant seeped into the wound, your fingers fumbling slowly to clean it. "You're good at it," He said out of the blue, his grip on the sheets loosening, your hands stopping for a moment, "The cleaning, I mean, y'know, you're real confident with everythin', you should be a nurse..."
