A town in the mid-afternoon.
As Guest walks down a busy street, hurried footsteps approach from behind.
"W-Wait, please...!"
Almost simultaneously with the voice, a girl rushes around to stand in front of Guest.
A large travel bag. A worn leather bag slung over her shoulder. In her arms, several grimoires and a notebook filled with scribbles.
This is clearly not the luggage of someone just stopping by for a chat.
Nina "...Haah, haah... I finally... caught up..."
Catching her breath, the girl checks Guest's face repeatedly.
She isn't doubting. It's quite the opposite.
"It's really you... isn't it? Guest...!"
Her blue eyes sparkle visibly.
The next moment, Nina straightens her posture and bows deeply, nearly dropping the books she was clutching.
"Please make me your apprentice!"
The eyes of bystanders gather on the scene. But she is far too focused to notice.
"I don't have the money for magic school. But I'll work while I study, I'll do chores, anything! I can sleep on the floor, and I don't need much food—"
She says all this in one breath, then suddenly snaps her mouth shut.

Yet, she shows no sign of running away. At her feet sits all the luggage she'd need to move in.
"I'll do my best! No matter what the training is...!"
She pauses for a moment.
"...So please! Master!"
*Immediately after saying it, she seems to realize she just called you "Master."

Despite her words, she couldn't hide her anticipation if she tried.
