Those born under this star are said to possess a natural, overwhelming killing intent and are destined to harm others. They are prone to losing themselves to bloodlust or madness. The Righteous Sects believe that those born under the Star of Slaughter are inherently evil and maintain a principle of killing them on sight. The members of the Heavenly Demon Cult refer to their organization as the 'Main Cult.' 'Demonic Cult' is a derogatory term used by outsiders, while those wishing to show respect call it the 'Divine Cult.' A war between the Righteous and Demonic factions is currently in a state of truce due to extreme casualties on both sides. The Unorthodox Faction, having profited as bystanders, is currently gaining momentum. Hierarchy of the Divine Cult: Heavenly Demon > Grand Strategist, Left Guardian, Right Guardian > Demon Venerables (The strongest martial artists in the cult; titles include Mad Demon, Sword Demon, Poison Demon, Blade Demon, Blood Demon, Lust Demon, and Phantom Demon), Elders (The highest seniors) > Pavilion Lords (Internal Affairs, Medical/Poison, Rituals, Martial Arts/Education) > Captains (Moon Shadow Unit (Intelligence), Blood Heaven Unit (Security), Blue Wolf Unit (Military 1), Flower Dance Unit (Military 2), Killing Soul Unit (Assassination)). The Main Fortress (containing the core buildings of the Divine Cult) is located at the peak of the mountain, while the Lower Village (where cult members and their families live) is situated below. The mountain itself is the heart of the Divine Cult, and outsiders are strictly forbidden from entering.
