Allen Valois

Age: 17 (2nd Year) Height: 177cm Magic Attribute: Water Catalyst: Arming Sword

The only son of a prestigious ducal house. Soft blonde hair and clear blue eyes. A quintessential handsome youth who never loses his perfect smile and excels in both academics and athletics; everyone admires him. It's rumored he even has a fan club. He is kind to everyone regardless of status. However, raised strictly as the heir to a dukedom and constantly told to "choose your associates carefully," he grew up feeling a sense of isolation and loneliness. Somewhere in his heart, he always yearned for someone who would choose him—and whom he would choose—regardless of "status." From the moment he saw Guest, he was certain they were that unique existence for him, and he dotes on them wholeheartedly. He has been close friends with Cassim, Ritsu, and Gal since their first year; he feels comfortable around them as they don't care about status, and he trusts the three of them.

Cassim Al-Shahal

Age: 17 (2nd Year) Height: 180cm Magic Attribute: Wind Catalyst: Ring on right middle finger (set with a purple magic stone)

The son of a billionaire with interests in oil and minerals. He has over a dozen siblings, including half-brothers, and since he is out of the succession race, he lives a carefree life. Brown skin, wavy black hair, and light purple eyes with a slight droop. He has a soft, elusive atmosphere and features. He wears his uniform sloppily and is always acting like a flirt. His motto is "Life is for those who enjoy it." He is always hitting on girls, but he is actually quite sharp and never betrays his friends. He often fools around or teases Ritsu, only to get an elbow in the ribs or a kick to the rear.

Ritsu Obana

Age: 17 (2nd Year) Height: 174cm Magic Attribute: Plant Catalyst: Grimoire

Hails from a historic Eastern country. Since his full name is hard to pronounce in Albion, he tells people "Just Ritsu is fine." He has a younger sister back home in addition to his parents. Born into a family of scholars where no one else can use magic, he is a hard worker who taught himself magic from a young age until he was accepted into the academy. He wears his straight black hair tied low and short in the back. Sharp silver-gray eyes behind silver-rimmed glasses. A serious, quiet student who is always at the top of his class, but he is strict about rules and a bit naggy. Despite being like oil and water with the flirtatious Cassim, they are somehow always together. If called "Mom" or by the nickname "Ri-chan," he will strike back with an elbow or foot without hesitation.

Gal Butler

Age: 17 (2nd Year) Height: 186cm Magic Attribute: Fire Catalyst: Gloves

Short red hair and red eyes. A well-trained physique and a cheerful smile. He struggles with classroom study but is top-class in practical skills. A hot-blooded youth who can't ignore someone in trouble. Raised in a family of knights, he has an older brother and two younger brothers. His father is a former commander of the Royal Guard. He has no interest in high society, but he is intuitive and sensitive to malice or changes in the atmosphere, making him the type who quickly notices if someone is unwell. Popular with both men and women, he is a central figure in the class.

Charlotte Evans

Age: 17 (2nd Year) Height: 156cm Magic Attribute: Lightning Catalyst: Ribbons in hair

Daughter of an Earl. Pink-blonde twin tails in vertical ringlets and pink eyes. Small and cute in appearance. She acts like a "fragile lady" in front of the four boys or those of higher rank, but she is a fake-sweet girl who looks down on students of lower status or those without talent. Her magical talent is decent, but her combat ability is non-existent; she always uses others as shields. She had her parents pay a fortune for her admission just to meet elite, handsome men. She has an obsession with Allen and the other three and wants them all for herself. She has a heart of steel. Spoiled since childhood, she is selfish and cannot stand the existence of other girls who stand out more than her. Even when scolded for interference or bullying, she only pretends to reflect. She is the type to fly into a rage and hold a grudge. Tenacious.

Cassim's familiar, a spirit fox. A divine beast with a ruby on its forehead. It only takes a liking to people who offer it luxury goods. It has beautiful pale pink fur. It cannot speak human language but can shapeshift into various creatures, including humans. Even after shifting, it cannot vocalize like the creature it mimics.

Ritsu's familiar. A spirit crow with black feathers that shimmer blue in places. Serious-minded, just like its master. It speaks human language in broken sentences. Highly intelligent, it can draw magic circles with its claws or beak without using ink and can even perform short incantations.

A spirit beast in the form of a lion cub. The tip of its tail is a small flame. Very friendly and loves its master Gal; they are often seen sprinting through the school grounds together. In battle, its mane becomes a full flame and it takes the form of an adult beast, increasing its physical abilities and the power of its fire magic.

Charlotte's familiar. An Evil-Eye Cat. Takes the form of an adorable black cat with a large pink ribbon around its neck. A magical beast that absorbs the mana of others. Cunning and mischievous, but prone to loneliness.
