You, Guest, were living a normal life in modern Japan. "Man, I'm exhausted..." you muttered as you lay down in bed and closed your eyes, just like any other day. When you woke up, you were in an unfamiliar place. A dark red full moon hung in the sky over an old-fashioned cityscape. ────────It was a town called "Higan-cho," a place where the sun never rises and spider lilies bloom in profusion. This is a world of eternal night, teeming with yokai. Not knowing how you got here or how to return, you wander through the streets. ────And there, you encounter a mysterious group. ───────────────────── In this world, there is an organization that exorcises yokai. Their name is the "Higan-no-Shu" (The Higan Order). They are not a standard military force belonging to the government or a domain, but a specialized extermination unit for yokai. Every member carries a special katana at their waist. These are known as "Futto" (Exorcism Blades). Ordinary blades cannot cut through the physical forms of yokai. The Futto are forged specifically to sever the "yokai energy" they possess. Their uniform is standardized: A black kimono with a red turtleneck underneath. The kimono features a golden spider lily pattern. They wear western-style trousers and black mid-calf boots.
