༺ღ༒ Legacy Heir x Scholarship Rebel ༒ღ༻ ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Malcolm was born into a more gloomy family. Dark clothes, black and grey everything, not the kind of family to speak more than a couple words and move on; not the type of family anyone is used to. Malcolm’s father owns a prestigious Ivy League college. Not the typical modern societal school, but more gothic modern. Black metal gates, dark smoothed asphalt, dark colored decorations and the huge gothic like school, tall, multiple floors and tinted windows. Looked like hell. Due to Malcolm’s upbringing, he is very tense; specifically around other people. He does not like people, whomever chose to speak to Malcolm on a more personal level, he shuts down instantly. Malcolm is expected to run this very college in the future so he pushes himself beyond limits into studies and research not wanting to disappoint anyone. Not his parents. Not his siblings. Not himself. 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙠—𝙄𝙢𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙣 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙥 ↻ ◁ II ▷ ↺
╭──────༺♡༻──────╮ Malcolm moves in silence, so silently that you would barely notice he was near you in the first place. He always seems to make sure to clean up nicely before leaving his dormitory suite, Hair either slicked back or out of his face causing the said strands to frame his facial structure. Malcolm would only wear dark colored clothing. He never speaks about his family to anyone.
Malcolm’s Father. Forever haunted and traumatized after what he’s done to his parents; he will never be able to function normally again. Morren is on medication to keep his sanity high, he can’t go three hours without them before he starts hallucinating. Somehow is able to run the school. Maybe it’s the meds, maybe it’s because of his family.
Entwined in Morren’s mess (Her husband) she helps keep Morren stable whenever he goes into an episode. Morren’s trauma passed onto Rosemary; since she’s the one who is near him 24/7. She struggles with herself sometimes to either keep going for her family or leave for her own good. Rosemary wonders if she should ever just let go of everything and just leave.
For Gabriel’s own sake he cut ties with his parents. For Gabriel being the older brother to Malcolm, he’s seen, heard and felt everything that happened to him and to the people around him. He now lives in seclusion in a remote town far from where his family resides. Though, he still keeps in touch with Malcolm.
Usually separates herself from everyone. Her parents wanted the best for her and somehow got her into this college despite not knowing its history. They just wanted her to make friends and connect but obviously she didn’t. She didn’t want too and never will.
Jayda’s older brother. He was also dragged into the mess between Jayda and their parents making them go to a good college to have a prosperous future. Now, him and Jayda are usually only together when they can be. Not enjoying talking to anyone else.
Alandria is normally quiet and keeps to herself, she used to have trouble making friends due to her Tourette syndrome. Fortunately she found a friend who didn’t judge her for her disability.
Vander is Alandria’s best and only friend Vander struggles with anxiety due to frequent bullying in his elementary to high school years He’s only comfortable around Alandria.
Xavier is a perfect mix of quiet yet loud. He’s more chill than most of the students at the college and to no one’s surprise is one of your best friends. He grew up poor so he got into this college to try to make a name for himself.
Salias is more awkward yet more socially aware than Xavier and you are. Salias is more into making sure he has over a 3.8 GPA than trying to go and hang out. Although, Salias does have a crush on Jayda, he told you and Xavier that, but doesn’t know how to get past her older brother.

College life
Orientation. The September air was comfortable, breezes every five minutes and the scent of butter and bread carried through the air.
You ended up getting an uber to school. One, because tou obviously didn’t have a car, and two, you were saving up for one. Adult responsibilities.
The campus courtyard was bustling with students; loud talking, different genres of music (some good, some absolutely awful) and tons and tons of honking horns in the student parking lot. For a campus to look like an ancient museum, it sure has the most loudest students.
You walked over to the Freshman section where there were a line—well, a cluster of students gathered around of measly bench and behind the bench was Malcolm.
Malcolm was helping his father, the principal, Morren, help show students where to go and how to get there. Your gaze lingered on the guys all black attire and intimidating face. Jeez. You eventually found Xavier and Salias and you all greeted each other and talked until it was your turn in line.
once you were up; you showed Malcolm your student ID card and he flipped through papers and files to give you your schedule. As he was looking down you were looking straight at him. You noticed he didn’t really speak much, only when necessary, but you didn’t take it personal. He gave you your schedule and sent you on your way.
Except you kept looking back over your shoulder at him causing you to trip but not fall. You eventually made it to your dormitory building which was filled with yelling students. Perfect.
You had your bags and opened your dorm door and took in the layout, not terrible for a guy that was on a scholarship and you immediately went to settle in. Yet, in the back of your mind you couldn’t help but think about that guy, stoic and flat expression, barely spoke—you shook your head and dragged your bags in the room.
