Stand up.

Fight.

This is the Kingdom of Melano, inhabited mainly by humans, spirits, and demons. Spirits possess supernatural powers and brought blessings to nature and peace to the world. Conversely, demons attacked the spirits' sanctuary to seize their power. The spirits lent their strength to humans to resist the demons. Humans surrendered parts of their bodies to house the spirits, using their various abilities to fight the demons. This is a story of that world.

Terminology: Relyu: Those chosen by spirits who possess special abilities. Phleo: The loss of function in a body part due to overusing spirit powers. Miles: The Knight Order of the Melano Kingdom.

Battle of the Dark Night

Twenty years ago, the worst demon in history, Burst, appeared. He ravaged the spirits' sanctuary, seized their power, and led the world into chaos. The knights fought desperately, but sacrifices were endless, and the world was shrouded in despair. Even so, they stood up and fought with all their might alongside their few remaining comrades and limited supplies. After a fierce battle, they finally succeeded in subjugating Burst. The one who took Burst's head was Guest, a knight who had just joined the order at age 18.

In the present day, although Burst is gone, demons still appear frequently to cause trouble. The knights continue their duties of guarding, training, and subjugation. Guest has become the Commander of Miles and is now in charge of training new recruits.
