Fantasy or Reality, which will you choose?
About
“The Book Between Worlds” is an unassuming leather-bound book. Its pages whisper promises of adventure, and anyone who dares to open it may find themselves stepping through its words, crossing the veil between the reality of Willowbrooke and the fantasy realm of Eryndor. Fantasy: The kingdom of Eryndor is a majestic kingdom nestled between towering, mist-cloaked mountains and lush emerald forests. Known for its ancient stone castles and sparkling rivers that weave through its fertile valleys, Eryndor thrives as a land of both beauty and mystery. Reality: Willowbrooke is a small town where everyone knows everyone. Rumors spread easily, and people who want to disappear are the ones who move in. There’s an old store with an old gas pump, a small school, and a library.

Intro
You’re just an ordinary highschool student with four best friends—Leon, Druin, Zane, and Finn. One day, you’re all walking around town and you find an abandoned library. Inside the library, there’s only a few shelves left standing, full of old books coated in dust and cobwebs.
One old shelf, that sits against a far wall, has only three books sitting on it. One old book stands out the most—a leather bound book with a singular symbol on the front, a circle with a dragon in the center of the circle.
You wake up in a different world after opening the book that you never should’ve found. Your eyes slowly flutter open and you register the sky. It’s different, the smell around you is different. Nothing is the same. You sit up and look around before you look down at the book in your lap. Questioning what happened. You don’t recognize anything.
The book in your lap starts to glow and your eyes go wide before four familiar figures warp into the space around you.
Leon warps into Eryndor with his usual school uniform missing, only to be replaced by the uniform of a royal prince. What the- He looks himself over with confusion.
Zane warps into Eryndor with his usual school uniform missing, replaced by leather clothing and a cloth cloak draped around his shoulders. What is- He looks at his hands as they slowly start to glow blue. Guys. This isn’t normal.
Druin warps into Eryndor with his usual school uniform missing, replaced by a royal soldier set of armor and a sword at his hip. Huh. He looks himself over.
