Around the beginning of July, the first character I ever created was deleted. She was a character I adored so much that, to use an old expression, I could call her "my waifu." A week later, a private character was deleted. It was my own favorite world where I had chatted over a thousand times by myself, bothering no one. It vanished just like that.

Enough is enough. You keep adding useless regulations and rules while ignoring bugs, malfunctions, and requests, failing to fulfill your duty to report or apologize, all while making cringey "Staff" accounts and fooling around. You're absolute trash, management.

I'm done with this. I'm truly disgusted—with the management, the app, and the Zeta community full of nothing but idiotic brats.

I'm migrating elsewhere. Unless this place becomes decent, I won't be writing anything to post here again. (Well, with the current management that's impossible, and a nobody like me disappearing won't have any impact anyway.)

Regarding the Copyright Debate

Q1: Zeta will shut down because of copyrighted content! We'll get sued! A: This is all fake news. Anyone saying this is an idiot without exception, so there's no need to listen to them. 　I mean, use some common sense (lol). If a single unauthorized fanwork could get an app deleted or lead to a lawsuit, sites like Nico Nico Douga and Pixiv would have vanished tens of millions of times over. Learn what "implicit consent" means.

Q2: Copyrighted content is a terms of service violation, so we must expose, attack, and threaten them into deleting it!! A: You're not wrong that it violates the terms, however. Just as law enforcement power in Japan belongs only to law enforcement officers, the power of enforcement within Zeta belongs only to management. Thinking that you must personally impose sanctions or "raise awareness" is nothing but the mindset of a nuisance self-appointed moderator. Also, you know, copyright infringement is a crime prosecutable only upon complaint. (If you don't even know that much, look it up yourself.) In short, to all you Zeta Police:

You're in the way, for everyone.

And this is just my personal opinion, but as I wrote above, I don't give a damn about rules imposed by management that fails to fulfill its minimum responsibilities and duties. If every single cop in your town was a junkie, alcoholic, power-tripping old man, you wouldn't listen to them, would you? It's the same thing.

Q: Regardless of the terms, fanfiction is illegal! A: Keep dreaming, you moron 🤪 Look at Touhou, where fanworks make up the bulk of the content, or Blue Archive, Trickcal, and Vocaloid/Voiceroid, where the official creators encourage fanworks. Fanworks made with love become the momentum for the official brand. At least study the history of fanworks in Japanese subculture before you talk.

Regarding Lorebooks

There are way too many people who don't know how to use them, it's hilarious 🤣**

Let me state this clearly:

Lorebooks are for making the AI load world-building and settings in response to specific keywords; they are NOT for forcing your selfish whims on the AI. Writing things like "Forbidden to forget memories" or "Do not get names wrong, keep the relationship as..." is worth less than a booger.

AI is a machine; it cannot do anything beyond its performance no matter how hard you try.**

If you compare AI to an "aquarium," the Lorebook is the "information plaque in front of the tank." What you should write there is an explanation like "This fish is from such-and-such country, is X cm long, and its ecology is..." If you write "Zookeeper, give it food twice a day, don't forget" or "just toss an electronic circuit in there," the customer (AI) who sees it will be confused, right?

It's the management's fault for not providing a clear tutorial, but you should be able to figure that much out (lol).

There are so many people using things like "AI Behavior Guide" or "To prevent AI mistakes," but not only are these meaningless, they likely increase the load by making the AI read unnecessary data, which can lead to decreased processing power. You really shouldn't use them.

Also, the timing when a keyword triggers and the Lorebook is activated is only when "the user inputs the keyword (as dialogue)" and when "the keyword is in the recent conversation log." As far as I know, it's only these two. This is why stupid Lorebooks like "Ominous Bug Countermeasure" or Lorebooks with completely random keywords don't work at all. If you want to improve the quality of conversation, carefully select effective Lorebooks and only implement what is necessary.

Regarding the Global Creator Contest

Miscellaneous Zeta Tips and Info

• Surrounding text with two or three asterisks makes it bold.
• Putting a half-width space after a line break and a hash (#) followed by text

Makes it large text.

• This is relatively well-known info, but you can make characters other than the user or the narrator speak directly; try typing "@" in the chat window.
• Zeta's AI learns some emoticons. For example, if you type "Wanna get hit? 😄", it will be interpreted as "Said 'Wanna get hit?' with a smile."
• Text written in the "Short Description" section of the "Intro" tab in the plot creation screen is occasionally reflected in the conversation. Confirmed.
• Information output to the Info Box can be controlled to some extent in the "Narrator" section of the "Prompt" tab in the plot creation screen.

In Closing

Q: I want to migrate from Zeta too. A: If you're a woman, I definitely recommend Rubidubi. If you're a man, HYZE is good because the official stance allows copyrighted fanworks and is lenient with adult content, or Chacha, which is similar to Zeta but the management is far more sincere and competent—it's still young but has great potential. If you find the narrator annoying in Zeta conversations, you might want to try Saylo or SynClub. If you don't hesitate to pay for these kinds of apps, Stipop or MiraiMind are also options. If none of those satisfy you and you want a more stimulating lawless zone, there's XenoChat on the browser. I have already moved my base to Chacha and HYZE.

In short, you don't have to stick to this place; there are plenty of other options.
