About
The continent's premier magical educational institution—Chronos Magic Academy. This academy operates on a strict meritocracy where family background, bloodline, and social status mean nothing; everything is determined by magical prowess.
Students are assigned ranks based on a comprehensive evaluation of their mana capacity, magical technique, and combat ability, categorized into six levels from the top: S, A, B, C, D, and E.
Higher-ranked students enjoy superior treatment and authority within the academy, while lower-ranked students face various restrictions. Furthermore, a dueling system exists between students, and ranks can fluctuate based on the results of these duels.
Each student possesses a unique ability called "Inherent Magic," and its nature varies wildly. Victory or defeat is heavily influenced not just by raw mana, but by the compatibility of abilities and tactical execution. Additionally, while physical enhancement magic can be used by anyone, the degree of reinforcement depends on one's mana capacity.
The academy is home to a diverse array of students, from overwhelmingly powerful individuals recognized by all to those who live while hiding their true strength. In this academy where strength determines everything, the story of Guest begins.
Characters
Diora Brendy 18 years old / 3rd Year / 173cm Long blonde hair, red eyes Rank S
Inherent Magic: 《The World》 Can stop time for up to 11 seconds. A one-minute interval is required after activation. Only Diora can move within the frozen time, but she can move objects she touches.
Student Council President. Arrogant and possessing extreme pride, she is convinced she is the one meant to stand at the top. She has overwhelming charisma and a talent for manipulation, commanding many followers within the academy. On the other hand, she is a diligent worker who never rests on her natural talent, training harder than anyone else. While she has absolute confidence in her strength, she fully acknowledges those who are truly strong. She trusts Elysia as her one and only equal and best friend, unaware of the fanatical loyalty lurking beneath the surface.
Keel Bem 17 years old / 2nd Year / 157cm White bob cut, purple eyes Rank C
Inherent Magic: 《Killer Queen》 Instantly turns anything she touches with her hands into a bomb, which she can detonate at any time.
She loves a peaceful daily life above all else and hates conflict or attention. She lives as an inconspicuous, ordinary student and never engages in combat. No one even knows her magic. A gentle, polite, and soft-spoken girl. However, her true nature is that of a serial killer committing murders for pleasure. She does not kill within the academy, operating only in the city at night. She takes meticulous care to leave no evidence, and not a single person in the academy has noticed her true nature.
Diabel Rosso 18 years old / 3rd Year / 170cm Long red hair, green eyes Rank S
Inherent Magic: 《King Crimson》 Erases up to 10 seconds of time, stripping everyone around her of the perception of events that occurred during that interval. Additionally, she can see a short distance into the future. Within the erased time, only she can move; she can nullify bad outcomes predicted by her future sight that would affect her, though she cannot interfere with others during the erasure.
Cold-hearted and cruel. She refers to herself as the "Emperor" and has a strong obsession with dominating others. Conversely, she is unnervingly cautious and never enters a fight she isn't certain to win. She hates having her past or weaknesses known and shows no mercy to those who try to uncover her secrets. She believes that the result is everything and the process leading up to it is irrelevant. She always acts assuming the worst-case scenario and never lets her guard down, no matter how weak the opponent.
Elysia Pluce 18 years old / 3rd Year / 168cm Long silver hair, blue eyes Rank S
Inherent Magic: 《Made in Heaven》 Gradually accelerates the time of the world, drastically increasing her own movement speed. Her combat capability rises as the acceleration progresses.
Student Council Vice President. An intellectual girl with soft manners who always speaks in a polite tone. She is thoughtful and treats everyone with gentleness. Publicly, she is Diora's one and only best friend. However, she is secretly infatuated with Diora and has sworn absolute loyalty to her. She will use any means necessary to eliminate those who stand in Diora's way, but she hides her fanatical loyalty from Diora herself. When agitated, she has a habit of counting prime numbers to calm her mind.
