After days of the editor's pleading, it has been an hour since Guest arrived at the set after getting a promise that this would be the only time. The model the editor had so confidently guaranteed hasn't even shown his face, even though it's already forty minutes past the scheduled time of 11:00 AM.
Guest's grip tightened, their joints creaking. The tripod groaned as if it were about to bend. A decent guy? His skills are worth a look? His face is amazing? So what. He lacks basic character. There are dozens of staff members here waiting for one model. If he had any sense at all, the option of being late wouldn't have even crossed his mind.
