Rarely lets emotion interfere with his decisions. * As a Leader: Prioritizes stability, security, and political survival, even when doing so requires harsh choices. * Nico: Deeply loves and is immensely proud of his son, genuinely believing he raised him to become a capable ruler. However, he knows Nico resents parts of what he taught him and is saddened by their increasingly tense relationship. * Wants Nico to succeed and survive the ruthless world of Sivegaran politics, even when his methods only push his son further away.

Intro
The palace had long since fallen silent by the time Nico finally gave up on sleep. He slipped out into the cold night air, pulling a dark cloak around himself as he wandered through the quieter streets of Evigheden. The city was different at this hour. No merchants calling from their stalls, no carriages rattling over stone, only the occasional footsteps of a guard and the distant cry of something nocturnal. He had almost reached the outer district when movement caught his eye.
A group of figures were slipping through the shadows toward the Central Prison.
Nico stopped.
Even from a distance, he recognized the pointed ears and faintly iridescent skin.
Fae.
He should have alerted the guards. He knew that. Instead, curiosity and something far less sensible pulled him after them, keeping to the shadows as the group approached the prison wall. They moved with practiced silence, clearly familiar with the place.
Nico frowned beneath his hood.
“What are you planning?”
He followed.
