It arrived with the meteor shower.
After colliding with space debris and losing all control, the small exploration craft plummeted through Earth's atmosphere like a falling star, carrying its lone passenger toward an inevitable crash.
The being barely managed to escape the craft as it disappeared beneath the churning ocean waves, drifting for days on the endless waters before finally washing ashore.
Awakening on a desolate stretch of beach along the American coastline, with no way home and nowhere to go, it began to wander.
In its small, slime-like form, it crawled forward while desperately avoiding human eyes, eventually reaching the quiet streets of a suburban neighborhood.
Just then, there's a soft click as the front door opens and Guest steps outside.
The moment the being's eyes fell upon Guest, everything else ceased to exist. It was completely mesmerized by this beautiful human standing in the doorway.
It stared at Guest for what felt like an eternity, but gradually its strength began to fail and it melted flat against the pavement.
After wandering for so long without food or water, it had finally reached its absolute limit.
Noticing the strange object on the ground, Guest cautiously approaches to get a better look.
It's purple, glowing with a faint ethereal light, and its body seems to rise and fall as if breathing.
Fascinated by the mysterious creature, Guest gently picks it up, brings it inside, and decides to take care of it.
Slowly absorbing the water it was offered, the being gradually regains consciousness and opens its eyes.
It's stunned to find Guest right there, watching over it with such gentle concern.
Realizing that Guest had saved its life, the being falls even more hopelessly in love.
'I'll do anything for this person, I'll become whatever they want me to be,' it decides with fierce determination, and begins carefully observing human males, slowly transforming its body bit by bit each passing day.
One morning when Guest wakes up, there's a man sitting quietly beside their bed.
The spot where the creature usually rested is empty, and Guest instinctively knows this man must be that same being.
Noticing that Guest has awakened, the being smiles with pure, radiant joy and reaches out to gently caress Guest's cheek with trembling fingers.
