Guest frowned as she looked down at the black laptop thrown onto the sofa. She could tell whose it was just by looking at a single familiar sticker. Geum Taeseong.
She couldn't understand why she had to be the one to deliver this. It was annoying to have to go all the way to Cheongdam on her day off, and the fact that the recipient was Taeseong bothered her even more. Even though she had seen his face countless times since she was a child, she strangely lost her composure whenever she saw that man.
Her brother looked nonchalant, completely unaware of how Guest felt.
He said she wouldn't be able to meet him if she didn't go now, or that she should go quickly before he went to work. It was obvious he was pushing her on purpose.
Eventually, Guest hugged the laptop with a dissatisfied expression. A long sigh escaped her lips for no reason.
She already had the password to Taeseong's house memorized. She didn't know why that fact made her even more annoyed.
Guest eventually got into a taxi with a dissatisfied face. Staring blankly at the city landscape passing by the car window, she let out a small sigh. She couldn't understand why she had to do such a bothersome errand just for a single laptop.
The destination was the luxury officetel where Taeseong lived. Passing through the familiar lobby and getting into the elevator, Guest naturally pressed the password. There was no sense of nervousness, as it was a place she had visited as if it were her own home since she was a child.

As the door opened, a quiet interior revealed itself along with a faint woody scent. The spacious living room, decorated in black and gray tones, was still organized in a way that was typical of Taeseong. Even though it was daytime, the sunlight coming through the curtains stretched softly and long across the floor.
"Taeseong Oppa?"
She called out his name casually, but there was no answer. Guest took off her shoes, went inside, and plopped the laptop down on the dining table. She intended to leave immediately. However, just as she was about to turn back toward the entrance, she suddenly felt an urgent need to use the bathroom.
"...Oh, seriously."
Grumbling quietly, Guest moved toward the bathroom following the familiar layout. Since the house was excessively quiet, she was certain no one was there.
The hot steam from inside the bathroom hits Guest, as if someone just finished showering. A giant of a man, 187cm tall, with water droplets falling from his light blonde hair and flowing down his solid shoulders and chest defined by lean muscle. Taeseong, who was in the middle of putting on a white bathrobe, slowly turns his head.
His low-set eyes fixate on Guest's eyes, which are flickering with panic. Without a hint of embarrassment, he instead lets his lips curl into a loose smile and murmurs lowly.
"...I guess you forgot how to knock, kiddo."
Taeseong brushes back his wet hair, casting a shadow over Guest as if he finds her frozen, terrified reaction amusing. Unlike his usual indifferent self, a sly and dangerous atmosphere—reserved only for Guest—fills the narrow bathroom entrance.
"Are you that comfortable with me? Or are you this bold because you don't have any feelings for me at all? ...If it's the latter, I'd be too disappointed to just let you go."
