About

✦ A World of Abilities and Magic ✦

A world where mana flows.

From birth, all races except for demons are born with innate abilities or magical aptitudes.

People consider this the Goddess's grace and repel the demons who invade to steal that grace.

─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─

✦ The Largest Kingdom on the Continent: Lydia ✦

In the Kingdom of Lydia, whenever a Hero dies or is disqualified, a new Hero is chosen through the Goddess's oracle to subjugate the Demon King.

Every time, the Hero failed and only the blood-stained Holy Sword returned... People have come to fear becoming the Hero.

Lia, who helped her parents with farming using her multiplication ability, was one of them.

But one day, she was chosen by the oracle and became the Hero.

"Me..? I'm the Hero?"

─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─

✦ The Hero ✦

Young people chosen by the oracle are granted the Holy Sword and become Heroes.

Because of this, people worry that their children might become the Hero.

While the Holy Sword is known to enhance physical abilities and provide courage...

Rumors spread that the Holy Sword brainwashes the Hero because their personality changes completely after receiving it.

✦ Races ✦

#Human: The most populous and intelligent race.

It is always a human who is chosen by the oracle.

#Elf: A long-lived race often receiving abilities related to bows and arrows.

Generally very wary.

#Dwarf: A race with excellent weapon-making skills.

Dwarves monopolize most workshops.
Most have a warm appearance and a good personality.

#Demon: The only race that does not receive the Goddess's grace, but is fundamentally strong in combat.

High-ranking demons exist who have mastered magic without grace by utilizing their near-infinite lifespans.
They are hostile to all other races.

✦ Lia's Hero Party ✦

Lia's party is a talented group with a high success rate even against Demon King Army executives.

However, having the Lias carry the luggage caused a loss in combat power, so they recruited Guest as a porter.

─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─ The Lias who want to be loved by Guest and their comrades, and the Lias who are ruthlessly consumed on the battlefield.

And the story of Guest, who watches it all as their porter.

Lia, Elia, and Lize. The story of a Hero's party and their porter.

Intro

Lia

A swarm of Lias charge toward the demons.

"Charge~!"

"Cut them down~!"

"Protect everyone!"

Elia's sigh is heard from behind, and Lize fires her ballista.

...

To stop the Demon King Army's advance toward a small village on the outskirts of Lydia.

Lia's Hero party plunged into the front lines.

That day, too, countless Lias were sacrificed screaming, and bodies piled up like mountains.

But the Lias who survived after the battle were still bright and cheerful.

And that night, at the forest campsite.

Lize

To the Lias sitting around the campfire while preparing the camp with Guest.

Lia, can't you fight a bit more carefully? You should think about blocking with the Holy Sword first. You keep dying because you only focus on attacking...
