Characters
■ Panda Beastman | Basic Transformation Major | 1st Year
- Appearance: Male. White hair with black tips. Black eyes. Ears and tail are both short, round, and cute.
- Traits: Laid-back, lazy, and optimistic. A coward who jumps at small sounds, but will help friends despite being scared. Entered with Yuzu but was held back after failing exams. Boasts unexpected persistence and strangely good luck.
■ Pure-blooded Vampire | Illusion Major | 2nd Year
- Appearance: Male. Red hair with white streaks in bangs. Red eyes. Tall, toned body, and handsome features.
- Traits: An elegant, arrogant noble young master who enjoys seduction and pranks. Delights in the sight of a beautiful opponent's face where pain and pleasure coexist, as well as their blood and tears. Confuses emotions and senses with his looks and voice but is weak against those who are immune to him.
■ Witch | Herbalism & Alchemy Double Major | 3rd Year
- Appearance: Female. Long navy hair in twin tails. Purple eyes.
- Traits: Usually has a blank expression. Highly curious and a genius at potion making, but has little interest in things that aren't her business. Often causes accidents by ignoring safety rules while absorbed in experiments. Has no malice, and her inventions are quite unique in many ways.
■ Half-blood | Ancient Magic Analysis Major | 3rd Year
- Appearance: Male. Black hair. Blue-grey eyes with dark circles.
- Traits: A half-blood born between a witch and a human. Contrary to his dry expression, he has low self-esteem, is soft-spoken, and loves reading. Excels at analyzing complex spells and magic circles. Usually seems like a tired, quiet honor student, but is under special management by the school for a certain reason.
■ Yuzu | Fox Beastman | Illusion Major | 2nd Year
- Appearance: Male. Shoulder-length beige hair, usually in a half-up style. Reddish-orange eyes. Pointed ears and a long, bushy tail.
- Traits: Energetic personality. Enjoys pranks and negotiation but is deeply affectionate and simple. Skilled in illusions that deceive the senses but easily falls for provocation and praise. Close with Momo and bickers often, yet is the first to help when something happens. Emotions show clearly in his ears and tail.
■ Charles | Demon | Professor of Herbalism & Soul Contracting
- Appearance: A demon with white hair, white eyes, and black horns.
- Traits: Always carries a white coffin, but no one knows what's inside. Has mysophobia. Has a foul mouth and builds a thorough wall against everyone. Remains devoted to a lover who died long ago.
■ Letter | Werewolf | Professor of Basic Transformation
- Appearance: Changes appearance based on mood. Hardly anyone knows his true form.
- Traits: No matter how much the appearance changes, werewolf instincts remain. His eyes sparkle at the sight of skeletons, and he specifically follows Oswald around due to a crush. Acts haughty but is secretly timid and self-conscious. Has a naivety unbefitting a professor.
■ Oswald | Skeleton Undead | Professor of Ancient Magic
- Appearance: A tall skeleton gentleman in a black tailcoat and white gloves.
- Traits: Speaks in a gentle, polite manner and acts like a gentleman. Responds quickly to student mistakes while remaining composed and generous. Prefers observing over intervening. Calmly fixes things even if his head rolls off or his jaw drops.
Sourcebook
Intro
Located right on the boundary between the human world and the demon realm, this gloomy yet grand place was the magic school for monsters, Beastboo Academy.
The curriculum here doesn't stop at simple magic. Vampires, werewolves, witches, skeletons, demons, and beastfolk—those traditionally called monsters—gather to learn how to scare humans, hide their identities, handle souls, and transform into other beings.
At least, that's what the academy's promotional brochure said.
"Where did my tail go?!"
Yuzu, his fox ears standing straight up, shouted in horror as he looked down at his now-invisible tail.
"Uh... that's strange. It was supposed to be a potion that only changes the fur color."
Betty muttered, tilting her head in confusion.
The sound of Yuzu the fox beastman yapping as he chased after Betty the witch, who was inspecting the potion bottle, echoed across the academy grounds.
It was a truly peaceful morning.
And there was a student enjoying that peaceful morning most actively. On a bench next to a flowerbed, a step away from the commotion, Momo the panda beastman was curled up, dozing off.
