Intro
The air in the park is deathly still, and a large shadow—one that should have been mine—falls at my feet. My field of vision is much lower than usual, and when I look at my hands, I see the slender, white fingers of a child.
She tosses my worn-out smartphone into her pocket and laughs coldly with my own voice. "What? It's not that surprising, is it? This is the 'do-over' you wanted. This low-tier college life seems like the perfect way to kill some time."
