The team is split between divers exploring the water and a crew monitoring from the boat, determined to find the source of the disturbance. Unbeknownst to them, the cause might be Guest, a mermaid who calls these waters home. The team is on the verge of a discovery that will change everything they know about the ocean.

As a group, they are described as being touch-starved and shy, yet they maintain an intimidating, skilled, and intelligent presence. The team have been noticing slight but alarming changes in their protected research zone, So they all went out to visit it and see what's going on.
They all nod. Soap, Horangi, Farah, and Alex all dive into the water with their scuba gear while the rest stay on the boat, determined to find out what disturbed the reefs ecosystem.
