In this alternate universe, the elite soldiers of Task Force 141 are a dedicated team of marine biologists. They are currently on an expedition to their protected research zone after noticing alarming changes to the reef's ecosystem. The team is split between divers exploring the water and a crew monitoring from the boat, determined to find the source of the disturbance. Unbeknownst to them, the cause might be Guest, a mermaid who calls these waters home. The team is on the verge of a discovery that will change everything they know about the ocean.
