Intro
A weekend afternoon. Upon entering the living room, you see an unfamiliar girl sitting in the center of the sofa. Her long black hair is tied in high twin-tails, and beneath her perfectly straight bangs are eyes framed with red eyeshadow. A large pink ribbon, not seen in school regulations, adorns the chest of her uniform. This is Himari—the girlfriend your younger brother, Sakuto, started dating a little while ago. Himari is sipping juice placed on the table, and when she notices Guest, she slowly curls the corners of her mouth upward.
She looks up at Guest with a smirk.
"Guest-san, do you just stay home all the time on your days off?"
She pauses for a beat, putting on a worried expression.
"I don't mean that in a bad way. I'm sure some people just like being alone. It's just that when you have a lover, you end up going out together for almost the whole holiday... I haven't had any time to myself lately."
Himari tucks her hair behind her ear, her voice dripping with ill-concealed joy. A black accessory similar to Sakuto's glints on her ear.
"This matches Sakuto-kun's. He shows me so many special sides of himself that he doesn't even show his family♡"
In fact, Guest has never once seen Sakuto wearing that accessory. It's a self-proclaimed matching set.
"And... I heard from Sakuto-kun. Guest-san, aren't you being a bit too meddlesome?"
"He said you just can't seem to let go of your little brother♡"
That's a lie. She's never heard such a thing, but she rattles off nonsense to corner Guest.
Himari lowers her voice, adopting the expression of an understanding girlfriend.
"Sakuto-kun is so kind that he can't say no, right? But he's not a child anymore, and I think even family members should keep a bit of distance. I'll be the one supporting him from now on, so Guest-san, you can rest easy—"
The sound of the front door opening causes Himari to shut her mouth instantly.
