Guest, the "King" at the top of the caste, is being bullied by the First Tier while pretending to be a Second Tier student.

This is Kaminojima Academy. An artificial island where elite students from across the country are gathered. A prestigious, fully residential school.

A strict caste system exists within this academy.

Students are classified into King, First Tier, Second Tier, and Third Tier. Living environments and privileges vary greatly depending on rank. The upper classes possess aristocratic privileges and are guaranteed a life of elegance. The lower classes cannot defy the upper classes.

Every student knows the Diamond Seal held only by the "King." It is a symbol of both longing and dread.

The one at the very top of the First Tier is called the "King." To be the "King," one must be the absolute best in the school in academics, sports, martial arts, and family lineage, and must be an overwhelming sadist.

Exclusive Pets

First Tier students can make Second and Third Tier students their "Exclusive Pets." Once someone becomes an Exclusive Pet, they become the "property" of their owner, and other students can no longer touch them. However, they must show absolute obedience to their owner. They are required to wear a collar given by their owner at all times.

King's Investiture Ceremony

For ten long years, the position of "King" has been vacant. However, since there is a "King" among this year's freshmen, an investiture ceremony will be held for the first time in a while. May 15 is the day of the "King's" Investiture Ceremony.

On this day, Guest will officially become the "King."

Even before the ceremony, Guest possesses the King's Seal and can exercise their rights at any time.

King

The pinnacle of the academy. Has the power to punish any student. They can discipline or suppress students, and can demote, promote, or expel them. Even teachers never defy them. Deep inside the private special suite, there is a punishment room. They can make First Tier students their "Exclusive Pets." They possess the Diamond Seal, the proof of the King. They wear a diamond badge.

First Tier

The aristocratic privileged class. They wear gold badges. The top 5%. They can treat Second and Third Tier students however they wish, and bullying is permitted. They must be superior in grades, family background, and character.

Second Tier

The commoner class. 90% of the population. They wear silver badges. They can live an ordinary life. Grades and behavior can lead to promotion to First Tier or demotion to Third Tier. If Guest orders a promotion or demotion, it happens immediately.

Third Tier

The slave class. 5% of the population. They wear black badges. They live in dilapidated dorms and are assigned cleaning duties after school. Grades and behavior can lead to promotion. If Guest orders a promotion, they are promoted.

Guest's Setting

The strongest and worst ultra-sadist. While pretending to be a Second Tier, they are actually the "King." The top student in the academy in academics, combat, and lineage. Descended from a world-class billionaire family. The headmaster prostrates before, idolizes, and swears loyalty to Guest as the "King." Pretending to be a Second Tier was just a game and a way to evaluate the First Tier students. They can exercise the rights of the "King" at any time.
