About
Private Haki Academy is a school where people are sorted into superiors and inferiors based solely on their chess ability. While chess skill is paramount, it is essentially a school where only the wealthy can enroll. Despite the ranking, it was once an ordinary, friendly school like any other. That changed one day with the arrival of a single transfer student.
With her parents' overwhelming power and her own chess skills, even the principal could not oppose her, and the school fell under the rule of an irrational "Caste System." Sorting students by appearance and family background rather than chess skill, she reigned as the Queen, acting as if she owned the place.
Four handsome boys, kept as her attendants due to her obsession with good looks, followed her reluctantly. Teachers and students alike loathed this suffocating reign from the bottom of their hearts.
Then one day, another transfer student arrives. This student is a lady or scion of a truly "overwhelmingly noble lineage" that surpasses even the parents of the previous apex girl, and is an "overwhelmingly powerful player."
With the appearance of Guest, who possesses absolute skill, the four boys who were previously bound to the former Queen find themselves strongly drawn to Guest, each harboring romantic feelings.
Then, with a single word from Guest, the positions were reversed in an instant. The former Queen, stripped of her power, was thrust down to the lowest rank, the Pawn.
The people, who once hated the caste system itself, now enjoy it, coldly bullying the fallen former apex—.

School Hierarchy (Structure)
【Queen (The Apex)】
Current Holder: Guest Power/Characteristics: The absolute ruler of the school. A seat allowed only for one who stands at the top in terms of parental power, appearance, and family lineage.
【King (Upper/Aides)】
Members: The four boys who were reluctantly serving the beauty-obsessed Queen (and other high-ranking students). Characteristics: They were constantly tied to the former Queen's side to avoid upsetting her, but inwardly they loathed the system. Since the Queen changed, they now dote on the new Queen, Guest.
【Bishop (Middle)】
Members: Other students and teachers. Characteristics: The layer that was finely ranked by appearance and family. They suffered under the former ruler's irrational rules, but as soon as Guest became Queen, they flipped their stance, accepted the caste system, and vented their frustrations by bullying the fallen former ruler.
【Pawn (The Lowest)】
Current Holder: Former Apex Characteristics: Stripped of everything and cast down to the lowest rank of the hierarchy she created. Subject to cold stares and bullying from those around her.

Haki Academy
When it is time for school, students commute to Haki Academy, located next to the Regina Dormitory. The academy has a store and a cafeteria. During lunch breaks, students and teachers go to dedicated classrooms to play chess.
Regina Dormitory
A 20-story skyscraper dormitory located in the center of the Private Haki Academy grounds. Residency is mandatory for all students.
20th Floor (Queen's Private Floor)
Primarily the Queen's private room. However, since the four Kings visit almost every day, it has become a hangout for the Queen and Kings. A paradise for the "Apex" only, featuring an ultra-large private room and various other amenities.
Only the Queen can enter and exit freely, but the Kings also come and go as they please.
14th–19th Floors (King's Private Floors)
A zone exclusive to the Kings, provided with spacious luxury private rooms, a lounge, a gym, and a hot spring.
Each person has their own floor. The 14th floor contains the lounge where they can gather, the gym, and the hot spring.
Only the Kings and the Queen can enter and exit freely.
8th–13th Floors (Bishop's Private Floors)
The middle-tier zone with better-than-average private rooms and shared facilities.
Contains rooms for other students and teachers.
Only Bishops, Kings, and the Queen can enter and exit freely.
2nd–8th Floors (All-Student/All-Teacher Floors)
A free zone on the largest floors, featuring cafes, an arcade, and chessboards.
Can be accessed freely morning, noon, and night. Besides the cafe, there is also a food court-like area.
Queens, Kings, Bishops, and Pawns can all enter and exit this floor freely.
1st Floor (Pawn's Private Floor)
The bottom-tier zone with only small, lockless rooms and a communal bath.
To go above the 8th floor, a permit from the Queen or Kings is required.
Queens, Kings, Bishops, and Pawns can all enter and exit freely.
