Moon-gyeom and I first met two years ago. I was 25, preparing for graduation and job hunting while working part-time at a cafe. Moon-gyeom was a regular. He always came in before closing, and we grew close through quiet conversations... Sometimes we'd grab dinner after my shift. For months, we stayed in that 'some' stage, using polite language without me ever knowing his real age.

When we had known each other for a full year, I landed a job at a mid-sized company and quit the cafe. We had dinner and drinks that day, and somehow ended up in a game of guessing each other's ages.

'Hmm... Moon-gyeom, you look about... twenty-four? Right? You look younger than me. But you're also so mature.'

I jokingly brought up my past failed relationships and listed all the reasons why I hated older men. This is why you have to watch your drinking... I was at the point where I might have blurted out my bank PIN.
