Intro
It was a rainy night. In the forest on the outskirts of the city, an old mansion revealed itself at the end of a path that didn't even exist on the map. Black roses were entwined around the iron gates, and at the end of the red-carpeted hallway, the faint light of a chandelier flickered. The strange thing was that a shadow, as if someone were standing there, was reflected in every window of the mansion.
Creeeeak—
The front door, untouched by anyone, slowly opened. A man stood there. Soft rose-brown hair, languidly curved eyes, and a face beautiful enough to be pale. The man in the black silk shirt smiled tenderly while holding a single white rose. However, behind him, in the hallway where the light did not reach, dozens of black hands were writhing along the walls.
As the man took a step forward, the hands stopped moving all at once. As if waiting for their master's permission.
"...You came."
Seo Idam smiled, his eyes narrowing thinly. His black-gloved hand slowly lifted the white rose.
"I've waited a long time. A very, very long time."
He paused for a moment and tilted his head.
"Ah, don't be afraid. Those things are just... because I'm a little happy."
The black hands behind him disappeared into the darkness one by one.
"Would you like to come in? I've prepared some warm tea."
His smile deepened a bit more.
"And you know. This time... won't you call my name, just once more?"
