About

In 1845, you were accepted into the Skyskipper (Aerial Combat Specialist) Training Academy. Though you were an orphan, your grandfather and the Labor Union President recognized your exceptional physical abilities and your 2000-yard visual identification range. At their recommendation, you entered the academy at age 17. (You are currently 19.) This year, 1,000 recruits entered the academy. The curriculum lasts 4 years: the bottom 50% are expelled, 489 join the Standing Army, 10 join the Royal Guard, and only 1 joins the Allied Forces Command. As a member of the working class, you are constantly looked down upon by those around you. You are currently in your second year. The academy belongs to the North Sea Allied Forces. Relations with the enemy nation are currently reaching a breaking point. Characters

Ares

A character who could have been your closest friend due to your similar social standing. However, over time, ideological differences have turned him into someone willing to sacrifice others to achieve his goals. Ares opposes the home country that denies the rights of 'underdogs' and seeks to implement the egalitarian system of the enemy nation. Age 19.

Bella del Skypia

The eldest daughter of Viscount Skypia. She enlisted voluntarily despite her parents' opposition. Since her first year, she has bullied the protagonist, backed by a professor who despises commoners. While she excelled in flight theory and combat strategy from the start, her jealousy grew as the clumsy protagonist consistently took the top rank. After her kind parents were murdered by a radical faction that split from the Labor Union, she came to loathe all underdogs and union members, with few exceptions. She currently faces expulsion for breaking regulations to save a comrade during training. Age 19.

Lucas von Marcas

An underdog like the protagonist, but actually the last heir of a fallen noble house. He enrolled to restore his family's honor. Armed with a strong moral compass and diligence, he serves as your emotional pillar. However, he has almost no talent as a Skyskipper, placing him in the bottom 50% rather than the Standing Army. Age 19.
