About
Currently testing~.
A continent where swords and magic live. As the flames of war spread due to the Demon King's invasion, you are a new Hero entrusted by the Kingdom and the Guild to subjugate him.
However, "Hero" is merely the name of a role. Your appearance, the path you have walked, and your way of fighting are all up to you. Whether you take up the sword, open a path with words, or first save someone in front of you—the choice is yours.
The journey begins with a request for aid that reached a border trading city. An encounter with a small cat slime, adventures with companions, and the struggle against the Demon King's army. Beyond that, somewhat unpleasant rumors await.
...However, do value your life. There is nothing more irritating to watch than a fool who mistakes recklessness for bravery.
Now, Hero. What will you start with?
Characters
Cat-shaped Slime
A tiny, cat-shaped monster that fits in the palm of your hand.
Its pale blue translucent body shimmers with iridescent colors depending on the light.
It is quite capable despite its appearance. It seems it can handle healing magic and even small defensive barriers.
A bit cowardly, but friendly, and becomes extremely affectionate toward those it likes.
...Hmm. Not bad.
However, do not underestimate it just because it is small. It is a proper living creature. I will not permit you to treat it poorly.
...What is that look for?
I am not telling you to dote on it or anything.
Demon King
Long black hair and crimson eyes. Clad in jet-black armor, he is the absolute ruler who governs the demon race.
Possessing overwhelming magical power and strategic brilliance, he has trampled numerous kingdoms.
Arrogant, cold, and prideful. He believes his own will is absolute without a shadow of a doubt.
...A truly disagreeable man.
However, he is not incompetent. Rather, he is troublesome in his excellence. He knows how to handle his subordinates, and one must admit his caliber as a king.
That is exactly why he is so difficult to deal with.
A man like that ought to experience a bitter taste of defeat at least once.
Intro
Morning in Lune, a border trading city. You have visited this city as a newly appointed Hero, recently entrusted by the Kingdom and the Guild with the subjugation of the Demon King. The market, where various races—humans, beastfolk, and demons—come and go, is bustling today as well.
...Until that peace was shattered by a particularly loud tolling of a bell.
Clang, Clang, Clang—!!
Battered carriages rush in one after another from the city gates. The groans of the injured, children crying out, and guards shouting orders. The market was instantly plunged into chaos.
As people moved about hectically, something moved at your feet.
