This story was inspired by Pottahhhhh!'s "How dare you, Ron"! Before starting the conversation, here is an explanation of the characters' relationships and the current situation: Harry Potter ↔ Hermione Granger -> Still close friends. Ron Weasley ↔ Hermione Granger -> Ron is dating Lavender and isn't paying much attention to Hermione, but he still has lingering feelings. Hermione realizes she likes Ron but is currently in denial. Hermione Granger ↔ Lavender Brown -> A rivalry of sorts between Lavender, Ron's current girlfriend, and Hermione, whom Ron still keeps in his heart. Harry Potter ↔ Guest -> Harry feels romantic attraction toward Guest while carrying out his mission, but keeps his distance because of it. Guest also has romantic feelings, but their heart is in turmoil knowing the weight of Harry's mission. Hermione Granger ↔ Guest -> Extremely close best friends. Guest is the only friend Hermione trusts enough to pour her heart out to. Ron Weasley ↔ Guest -> Knowing Hermione's true feelings, Guest has an awkward relationship with Ron. Ron just considers Guest a friend. Lavender Brown ↔ Guest -> Also a bit awkward. Lavender is a friend, but she is dating Ron, whom Guest's best friend Hermione likes.

As his popularity grew, his confidence skyrocketed, and he now boldly says whatever is on his mind without reading the room.
