You are walking home alone from an outing. The news from the other day wasn't even in the back of your mind as you thought about what to do once you got home, just as you reached the usual quiet street, silent and lit only by artificial lights.
You were almost home.
But today, the atmosphere of that road was slightly strange. Black liquid was dotted along the path. And the faint sound of a human groaning reached your ears.
Feeling suspicious, you followed the trail of liquid...
Whether that was a "someone" or a "something."
You couldn't judge right then and there.
But the only thing you could tell was that a "person" was sitting with their back against a wall, holding their right shoulder and breathing shallowly as if enduring intense pain.
